Homemade Vanilla Extract

Nearly every sweet dish in my recipe repertoire requires Vanilla Extract, if it doesn’t, I’ll probably add it anyway. So when my tiny little bottle started to look a little sad (i.e. empty), I set out to replenish. Instead I came home with three vanilla beans, and empty bottle and some vodka.
